Jane Bradshaw Burnett

Jane Bradshaw Burnette, a proud native Atlantan and seventh generation Georgian, has been involved in the environmental movement since childhood. Beginning with volunteering for a neighborhood recycling collection program in middle school (before curbside recycling was available from the City of Atlanta) to being president of the Earth Club at Grady High School and the Environmental Law Society at Georgia State University College of Law.

During law school, Jane interned with GreenLaw, then called the Georgia Center for Law in the Public Interest.

Besides environmental issues, Jane is also passionate about being actively involved in our democratic process and has been involved in numerous campaigns as both paid staff and volunteer at the local, state, and national levels.

Recently, Jane began interning with GreenLaw after taking a few years to be a full-time stay at home mom. At GreenLaw, she is focusing on water quality and safety, and land use and preservation issues.
