GreenLaw submitted comments for Flint Riverkeeper opposing the issuance of the land application of sewage in the Flint River basin. The draft permit issued to Freed Farms would allow the land application of sewage on areas where groundwater could easily be contaminated. Additionally, GreenLaw asserts that there are serious concerns that the owner/operator can safely operate a facility following a recent fire and emergency restraining orders and an injunction at another facility owned/operated by him.
