A coal-fired power plant project that Georgia environmental advocates are trying to stop in court may fall victim to a business decision.
Dynegy Inc. of Houston announced last week that it is dissolving a development joint venture with New Jersey-based LS Power Associates to build four coal burning plants, including the $2 billion 845-megawatt Longleaf Energy Station in southwest Georgia.
