GreenLaw Welcomes New Executive Director and Senior Attorney

On September 1, 2015, Melissa Allen Heath became GreenLaw's new Executive Director, and Robert Jackson joined the firm as a Senior Attorney. Both are native to Atlanta and share a passion for preserving our State resources and communities. 

Ms. Heath graduated magna cum laude in History of Science from Harvard College, and received her law degree cum laude from the University of Georgia. After several years of private practice, she went on to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4, as an enforcement attorney. She brings to GreenLaw 28 years of experience under every federal statute implemented by the EPA.

Mr. Jackson has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree from the University of Georgia - College of Engineering, and he worked for many years as an environmental engineer in the U.S. EPA’s Office of Research & Development.  He graduated Georgia State University - College of Law, cum laude, and is an experienced Georgia attorney specializing in environmental litigation.
