Sea Island gets preliminary approval for controversial development

In speaking of the beach renourishment project in the past, Sea Island officials said the jetty can be moved to a new location on the beach.

“It’s irresponsible to allow this kind of development on that spit,” Greenlaw’s Steve Caley said.
